How to sign up for DELTA ID Passport/ID scanner for Cloudbeds PMS

Contact us via our contact form and our sales team will reach out with technical and commercial details.

Once you are ready to move forward with the implementation, the DeltaID Customer Care team will perform the initial installation together with the hotel IT team or any other person and may need administrative permissions during the installation.

Procedure for connecting the scanning interface for the first time:

  • We will install the scanning software and hardware (passport/ID scanner) on the front desk PC.
  • Install the interface on the front desk PC.
  • Open the Account menu in the upper right corner of the CloudBeds interface.
  • Select the Apps & Marketplace option in the menu.
  • Search for the DeltaID application (you can filter by name).
  • Click LEARN MORE in the DeltaID app.
  • Select CONNECT APP, and then accept the permissions that cloudbeds requests for the app.


Delta Technical Support will receive the necessary information to finalize the installation and configuration.

How it works:

  • Open DeltaScan2PMS platform.
  • Select the reservation for the guest who is checking in.
  • Can you filter to date, reservation id or name.
  • Select to edit an existing guest or create a new one
  • To start the scanning process, click on the “Scan” button or capture with Camera if you have it configurated

To access document images, it is necessary to open “Documents” section in the “Reservation” module:

  • Open the “Reservations” module.
  • Select the reservation you want to view the images
  • Click on Documents section
  • Select guest’s name
  • Scanned document images are saved in the guest’s profile for each guest.

To disconnect interface, it is necessary to follow standard procedure of disconnecting app in Cloudbeds PMS. Click on this link for more information about the disconnection process.

DeltaID interface will always update guest information. In the case when guest does not exist, our interface will create new guest.

Which documents does your software read?

DELTA ID offers ID document recognition and verification across 190+ countries, covering passports, ID cards, and driver’s licenses. If your hotel is located in a country where DELTA ID cannot read local documents, the sales team will inform you in advance.

A document scanner can only be used on one computer at a time, with DELTA ID installed on that specific machine. While the scanner can be shared, simultaneous use is not possible. For further details, contact the sales team.

DELTA ID software does not store data or use a database. It transfers information from personal and travel documents directly into the hotel’s PMS. With various data protection features, the software helps hotels comply with privacy laws and regulations. For more details, you can contact the sales team.
